WOODFIELD STRINGS

Woodfield Strings is a musical ensemble from Sheffield in the North of England, specialising in background music for weddings, parties, conferences and other events.
Formed by a group of like-minded string players, the ambition of Woodfield Strings is to perform the vast repertoire of beautiful string music in exciting and innovative ways to audiences across Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Humberside, Lancashire and the North of England.
We are all professional musicians. Together we perform in duos, trios, quartets and string orchestras. Between us we have performed with the UK's top orchestras including the CBSO, RLPO, Halle, BBC Philharmonic and Opera North. We have performed on TV and radio, recorded with orchestras and rock/pop artists and toured the world.
